Delano Adult School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.



How much will it cost to attend Delano Adult School?


Most Classes are free. High School Diploma textbooks can be borrowed with a $25.00 book deposit. A counselor will determine what textbooks will be needed once transcripts have been evaluated by him/her. For General Education Development (GED) students they will need to purchase a book English ($22) or Spanish ($27) to prepare them to take the GED test. For ESL students, materials are provided in the classroom. However, if a student wishes to purchase a book to take home, they are available in the office at cost. If a student remains enrolled, in Delano Adult School, and he/she moves to the next level or book, the new book will be provided to them at no charge. All students enrolling in the Business Education classes will need to pay a one-time registration fee of $25. There will also be additional costs for certain books in order to complete required courses. Students who enroll in our Certified Nursing Assistant program will need to pay a $200 registration fee. There will also be additional costs for certain books and materials in order to complete the program.
