Who can enroll in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class?

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program is a class in high demand by the community of Delano and its neighboring cities. Therefore, students with a high school diploma and a passing score on the CASAS reading test may enroll. The CNA program is offered twice a year and testing for the entry of the class is ussually done in July and January. Students interested in taking the class should sign up a month in advance with the office to take the entrance exam. Once students pass the exam and score high enough to be admitted into the CNA program, then they must complete a physical exam, go through the finger printing process, and a camplete a CNA application prior to starting the class.
